If you already have art - We would prefer if you sent us camera ready art in vector format: *.eps, *.jpeg, *.ai or *.pdf. If you are unable to create you art in these formats, we will try our best to convert the art for you, however there is no guarantee that we will be able to. We will contact you immediately if changes need to be made. In most cases there are no additional charges for small adjustments to customer supplied art.

If you do not have art – That is no problem. S&L has graphic artists ready to work with you. If we are designing new art for logos or custom products, please call 1-800-513-1204 or email: art@slpromo.com so we can provide you with an accurate price quote. What we ask is that you provide us with a simple sketch or description of your idea. If you are interested in typesetting, we have thousands of fonts and layouts to choose from, and we will assist you in finding the one that best fits your needs.

Where to send art – You can send your art to art@slpromo.com, or to the individual account specialist you are working with. In the subject line, be sure to include the PO number or the item that the art is in reference to.

Colors – We ask that if the art is supplied by the consumer, that the PMS colors be included in the e-mail or on the actual art. If you do not know PMS colors, we will do our best to match the colors, but we suggest that you look at www.pantone.com to see PMS matches. Whether it is in person or on the phone, we can always consult you on how to choose the best colors for your product.

Pricing – If you are having your product screen-printed, there will be additional charges for screens, set-up charges and print charges. These prices are dependent upon the number of colors in your art as well as the size and number of locations. For embroidery, there are additional charges for tapes, which are based upon thread count and the number of locations. This is a one-time charge as long as the art remains the same. However, if a logo is used for screen-printing and then you would like it to be embroidered on another item; you will have to pay the new charges. When ordering large quantities, S&L will typically waive all set-up charges. Samples and Proofs

Samples (Wearable Items)– With wearable items, we will provide a sample or layout with logo to our clients when requested at no additional cost. This will ensure that you will be ordering exactly what you want. If you are a new client and we have not set-up your art before (meaning that we have to create new screens for screen-printing and tapes for embroidery), and we do not receive the order, we will charge you for the screens and tapes that we created. However, this is a one-time charge so if you do decide to place an order with S&L in the future, this charge will be waived. Also, if blank wearables are ordered as samples, and the order is not fulfilled by S&L you will either be charged for the sample items or asked to return them to us.

Samples (Non-Wearable Items) – For most non wearable items we will be able to provide you a blank sample at no additional cost. You will either receive it blank or with another companies logo already imprinted on it. We can produce samples with your logo at the normal imprinted minimum quantity rate. You will have to pay the cost of set-up and PMS match charges if any. If you decide to place an order for the requested sample, there will be no additional set-up charges.

Minimal Orders – With non-wearable merchandise, the lowest catalog quantity is the minimum order, unless otherwise noted. Dependent on the item, there may be an additional cost to order below the catalog minimum. With wearable items, the minimum number of pieces that can be ordered is 24. To order an item below this quantity, please contact a sales associate.

 

Large Quantity Discount

Larger Orders – S&L is proud to offer discounted pricing for larger quantities. If your non-wearable order is higher than the catalog quantity please contact us and we will give you a price based on your quantity and lead time. For wearable items, we suggest that you contact us at info@slpromo.com or call 1-800-513-1204 for a custom quote.

 

Shipping Information

Orders are shipped FOB from the point of manufacture. All wearables and hats that we screen-print or embroider leave from our factory in Queens, NY. S&L is proud to offer DHL next day, 2nd day, three day and ground service. Once an order is placed S&L will recommend the best shipping option dependent on the size of ones order. If an order is on the larger side, we will recommend using a trucking freight company that specializes in larger shipments and will offer the best rates.

If you have your own preferred shipping carrier and want to use an existing account, please include the name of the carrier, type of service and account number on the quote sheet or purchase order and we will arrange a pick-up. You can always advise us by calling customer service at: 1-800-513-1204

We are able to deliver to most locations in the United States. Unfortunately you will have to make special arrangements for PO boxes, APO, or FPO addresses. Once again, please call: 1-800-513-1204 or email: info@slpromo.com for further information.

In all cases you have not specified a third party billing account; we will add the freight to the invoice. Should items be lost or damaged while using a third party carrier, S&L is not responsible for damages incurred to the shipment. All charges or claims must be filed by you with your freight carrier. Please make sure to specify what type of service you want your items shipped.

Drop & Split Shipments

We can ship your merchandise directly to a specific event or to a multiple branch location. Please specify on your quote sheet or purchase order that there will be special instructions for shipping. Once again, please call: 1-800-513-1204 or email: info@slpromo.com for further information.

International Shipments

S&L is proud to offer the most economical and most respected shipping carrier to international destinations. DHL Worldwide ships more packages to international countries than any other carrier. Since S&L gets a great rate for international shipments, we will be happy to extend our discount to you and bill your invoice according. If you would like to have us ship your order and bill it to your preferred carrier, we will make the necessary arrangements. Please provide account number and carrier name on the purchase order or quote page.

As we will do all we can do expedite your order through customs, we can not guarantee delivery at a specific time or day. Furthermore, S&L must abide by restrictions set forth by importing and exporting goods to international destinations. Some products may be restricted from entering certain nations. Rush Service

Rush service is available but time depends on item ordered. If you are working within a tight timeline you might want to contact us directly at 1-800-513-1204 or e-mail: info@slpromo.com so we can offer you items that can be completed the quickest. Depending on the item, there might be an additional cost for a rush service. Please also note that shipping is not included in this price and will be an additional cost to our client. We will be more than happy to use your preferred method of shipping. Please see our shipping section for more details.

 

Ordering Process

Once you have placed an order or requested more information, you will receive a confirmation e-mail stating that we have received your order and that we are reviewing it. You will be contacted within 24 hours by an account specialist that will work together with you until your order is completed. When notified, he or she will lay out the plan of execution for your order. We will check item availability, artwork and schedule a delivery date. Please note that this is just an approximate date and that as we become closer to finishing the product, we will have a more accurate time table.

 

Payment Options

For first time orders, S&L requires 50% deposit and 50% upon delivery. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, company checks, cash or net terms for preferred customers.

We offer net terms for those who qualify. For those customers who want more information about establishing S&L credit, please call our credit department at: 1-516-872-4880 x10

For those customers who do not have a line of credit or a credit card, we will require payment prior to expediting your order.

For those paying by credit card, we recommend either faxing or calling an account specialist with your account number to avoid possible email fraud. When sending credit card information, please be sure to include your purchase order, billing address and all card details for processing.

Information regarding account number and expiration dates will be held confidential by the S&L staff.

 

Use of Trademarks

Any logos or a trademark that appear on our website is to show placement and ideas for our customers. S&L Promotional Group does not own the rights to these logos and trademarks and will not reuse them in anyway.
